Music

Music lifts the soul and allows us to worship. I need music as much as the air I breathe. Music lifts the soul, It can open the places we have closed off, where we hide from pain, where we refuse to see...Music is ( or can be) a refuge from the storm.

So when you are heavy laden and hurt, listen to Godly music to restore you to the place of worship!

The Judgement of God and communion

I just wanted to point something out, something we don't think of much because the present day doctrines have blinded us from the word of God.

But, to take communion without a clear conscience brings judgement on us, it is a judgement that is meant to cleanse us, a mercy from God, a warning, and out of His love.

But it should scare you, and if you will ask Him He will confirm this to you through the Holy Spirit which lives in you.

When we take communion we Declare that we are pure from all sins we know about and fit to eat and drink the blood and body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11 25-31

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

It is a declaration of oneness with each other and with Christ himself. A participation in His life he gave
for us to share and live, His overcoming life.

When we partake of communion we declare that we have confessed and forsaken sin.

1 Corinthians 5: 7- 13

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

We are told to judge ourselves and our fellowship, to keep it pure and to make sure we do not become infested with the old leven of wickedness. There are many places where we are warned of this, I will not list them all, every man and woman is exorted to seek God with ALL their hearts and souls, to be on fire for the truth no matter what the cost to themselves in the pain and fear of the cross.

To be lukewarm is death.

1 Corinthians 2: 9 - 16

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

We have the Spirit of God and the mind of Christ. He will lead us into ALL truth. We on our part must seek to find. Do not let any man,  or counsel of men tell you what they think, only the Spirit of God and the mind of Christ should do that.

Romans 2 : 1 - 11

1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Many will use the first few verses of this chapter to excuse sin, to excuse a false teaching, but notice that the second verse says God will judge them who do such things.... To obey what we know is the highest we can do when we take that cup, or eat that bread. If you have been wilfull in sin, do not partake until you are right with God, no matter how many times you have to repent, just do it!
